I grew up just down the coast, in Mendocino, CA, and in 2000, I graduated with a degree in Studio Art from Humboldt State University, with an emphasis in lithography. I began working exclusively in stained glass in 2007 when I became a craftsman for a local stained glass lighting studio. After a decade working with, and learning from, an amazing team of people I decided to dedicate my time to creating original pieces for private clients out of my home studio.

All of my designs begin with hours of drawing time. The subjectis nearly always inspired by my home; this beautiful and secluded part of the California coast. I work in copper foil and lead came techniques often using both in the same piece. I don’t consider myself a fusing artist, but I do enjoy adding fused elements in my designs to add visual texture to my work.
