Jim Lowry - Photography
Founding Member in 2003
After graduating from the California University of Long Beach in 1968, I painted and drew for thirty years. In 1998 I started making digital art, intending to combine two of my passions, art and computers, into one expression. Eventually this manifested itself as digital photography. This interesting medium has taken me on stimulating and challenging global travels. I continue to explore, expand and experiment as the digital world evolves.
My work has received numerous national, as well as International awards and has been collected internationally.
Additional work can be seen locally at the Morris Graves Museum of Art in Eureka. and at the Trinidad Art Gallery in the scenic town of Trinidad.
