Beading and quilting have been a lifelong passion for me. I received my first loom when I was twelve. I completed my first quilt when I was eighteen. Thirty years later I am still beading and quilting. I love the color, textures and sparkle of fabric and beads. I try to create images of beauty and magic. Life is a magical gift. There is beauty all around us if we take the time to see it and appreciate it.

Over the years my art has been shown in group exhibitions including The Humboldt County Fair, Redwood Art Association juried shows, and Mitzi’s Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. When I received The Humboldt Arts Council Acquisition Award my quilt was the first fiber piece to become part of the Humboldt Arts Council’s permanent collection. My art has also been shown in many solo shows including the Phantom Gallery, Heart Bead, and The Westhaven Center For The Arts.
