I come from a long line of women quilters. I have quilts from my great-grandmother. Some of my warmest memories are sitting next to my grandmother while she taught me to embroider. In 2002, I decided to "follow my bliss" and leave a 15-year psychotherapy career and dedicate myself to my fabric art.
I love fabric, especially vintage fabric. My vision is to create pieces incorporating vintage fabrics with contemporary fabrics that reflect my love of the 30's, 40's and the ever-wonderful campy 50's. I embellish these periods by framing my piece and adorning it with jewels of that period. My pieces have been a labor of love, passion and many years of collecting fabrics and vintage objects.
My art brings me closer to the talented women in my ancestry.
